COM 443: A Reflection for Advertising #4

And so today finally marks the end of what is a real growing journey for me, and for many of my fellow classmates too i guess. This would arguably be one of the last few modules, if not the last, for me to work with the many people in class with whom I've had the pleasure to know and work with. I would like to mention a few names...

Naz

As appointed director, Naz (whom i like to call "Malay!" for obvious reasons) has never failed his duties as a leader of the group. So while Spatiality has never been tops in almost any of our assignments, but have fought for last place usually instead, he has always been optimistic in making sure the team has not given up...but strive on for the next assignment. My only regret is that I have not had the chance to work with him more, for he is a joy to work with, and more than a friend I could ask for.

Kerri

This would be my first time working with Kerri, our very own Miss SIM-UB. Although i knew her only not too long ago..I only thought of her as someone who would be nice to work with, and true enough, we were drawn to the same team. I'll always enjoy going over to her place to do our assignments, play with her huskies, and her mutated XL-sized sze-tzu which looks more like a pug. Unfortunately i believe this would be the last time I work with her again.

Felicia

Felicia is perhaps the other group member other than naz whom I regret not having the chance to have more chances to work with. Eye bag jokes aside, she really gave her all for Spatiality, and when it comes down to doing serious work, she can deliver. Moreover, she's one of the few individuals whom i feel very comfortable talking to as well, perhaps that contributes to why I would think she's an invaluable member to any team. With her in the team, i felt Spatiality had more life...and thats a good thing.

Jamie

I knew her since orientation, through the one-and-only Ellyas, but never really got to talk to her until advertising, my loss. The reason i say that is because, underneath that bubbly personality, is a person with a wealth of knowledge, especially in the world of media, and through her, i have learnt tons, really a lot of stuff which I would never have known. Another reason why I liked working with her was because of her willingness to always volunteer her workplace's resources to accomplish Spatiality's assignments :)

Suen Hui

Because this is not my first time working with her, I sort of knew Suen Hui's working style...while she is in no way a difficult person to work with(in fact, i enjoy working with her), she might sometimes express herself in ways which might rub people off the wrong way...Suen Hui would admit that herself, but it is her sincerity to apologize which really makes her a wonderful person, and therefore, a person with whom I am proud to have worked with. :) Oh yeah, she has a freaking creative mind...and helluva good photoshopper (along with Felicia of course :P).

Daphne

Undoubtedly the unsung hero of the team, Daphne has been arguably the hardest worker in the team. She is willing to pick up anyone's slack without complaints, step up to tasks voluntarily, and be the ever resourceful researcher. I believe she has a given talent in being a researcher, because for whatever anyone us are able to research on, she somehow manages to churn out way much more information (I am not exaggerating). It helps that she is also the peace keeper of the team, as things do get heated up at times, and she'll be there to cool things down.

I believe this would be the last time I get to work with any of these brilliant individuals, who have made my journey of advertising a wonderful one. It is through such hardships that we treasure such memories more. I would like to take this final opportunity to thank each and every single member of spatiality, Naz, Kerri, Felicia, Jamie, Suen Hui and Daphne...

thank you :)
